Direct Support Professional II (DSP II) (P.H) and (S/L)
Brief Description: DSP II is responsible for the overall direct support of the person assigned to him/her. S/he will attend to the needs of the person such as assistance with personal hygiene, household chores, community outings, etc. The DSP II will be trained according to individual needs and requirements. This is a part time job and after 1 year of employment may turn into full time position.
Requirements: High School Diploma, must be able to pass background check, clean driving record, reliable transportation, valid LA driver’s license, auto insurance and current brake tag. Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities preferred, mature, and dependable and have good human relations skills.
Benefits: Seven holidays paid @ rate of 1.25 times above hourly rate.
P/T Early Interventionist Hours: TBD
Brief Description: An Early Interventionist is responsible for providing special instruction to all eligible children referred for services. Must provide monthly billing reports and progress notes for each child. Will integrate programming with any therapist and/or specialist who may be serving the same child. Will provide support and education to parents, as well as technical assistance to community agencies such as day care centers and family service coordination agencies.
Requirements: Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s and Certification by the LA Department of Education in at least one of the following: Non-categorical Preschool, Early Intervention, and Adapted Physical Education with add-on in Early Intervention or Pre-K through 3 with add-on Early Intervention. Must have valid LA driver’s license and auto insurance.
F/T Early Childhood Worker Hours: (4) 10 hour days

Brief Description: In the absence of the Direct Support Staff, the Substitute continues the tasks of supervising the program participants in work procedures, functional training activities, community-based activities and assists them in adapting to the work center environment.
Requirements: High School Diploma. Some knowledge of individuals with developmental disabilities. Demonstrated evidence of a stable personality, initiative, imagination, creativeness, and sense of humor. Understands and supports the philosophy of the Arc and its program. Must have valid LA driver’s license and auto insurance.
On-Site Janitorial Supervisor Hours: (3:00pm to 10:00pm)
Brief Description: Working supervisor. Additionally, the On-Site Supervisor is responsible for quality control related to the contract they perform. May be required to drive 9 or 15 passenger Arc vehicles and transport crew on Arc business.

Brief Description: Drivers are responsible for providing morning and/or afternoon transportation for participants in the Individual Options program. Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures. Responsible for recording and maintaining documentation required for vehicle and riders.
Requirements: High School Diploma. Must have valid LA driver’s license and auto insurance and have the ability to
drive a 9 or 15 passenger Arc Vehicle.
Marketing Coordinator Location: Fontana Hours: 8:00am to 4pm
Brief Description: Entry level marketing position. The marketing/sales coordinator is responsible for reporting, tracking and record keeping for VGKitchen, creation of presentations and marketing materials for all Enterprises, social media and upkeep of the website for Arc Enterprises and VGK.
Requirements: B.A. Degree in Marketing preferred, but not required, 2 years sales experience required, have valid LA driver’s license, auto insurance and good driving record.

P/T Market Representative, Arc Enterprises Hours: 10-12 per week
Brief Description: The market representative is responsible for attending all markets and engaging customers and offering samples of soup.
Requirements: Degree preferred, but not required. Two (2) years sales experience required. Must have a valid LA driver’s license and auto insurance. Must have a good driving record.
P/T Landscaper (Seasonal) Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm M-F
Brief Description: Performs various landscaping duties as scheduled and assigned by Departmental Supervisor and Landscape Supervisor.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred (if not in school). Must be able to pass background check, and have reliable transportation.
Grounds Maintenance Crew Leader Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm M-F
Brief Description: The Crew Leader’s primary function is to perform various grounds maintenance duties (i.e. working crew leader), transport and supervise crew members.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year landscape experience preferred. Must have valid LA driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record. Must pass background checks.

Contract Manager – Grounds Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm M-F
Brief Description: Project coordination, routing crew members and customer relations for grounds contracts.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience with landscape/lawn industry. Supervisory experience a must. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekend hours. Ability to lift 70lbs. occasionally. Ability to diagnose problems to prevent damage to equipment. Ability to work independently and demonstrate problem solving skills. Must have valid LA driver’s license and auto insurance.

P/T Secretary I – Arc Enterprises Hours: 8:00 am – Noon, M-F (PENDING)
Brief Description: Performs all Operations of MRDD System for Arc Enterprises. Responsible for Daily Reports of Digishop for Kitchen Sales.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have at least 1 year of experience in a secretarial position and can perform needed secretarial and office procedures efficiently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, detailed oriented and good organizational skills required. Data base experience a plus. Computer skills: (Microsoft Office/ Word, Excel, Word Perfect, & Power Point). Is pleasant, cooperative and professional in dealings with others. Must have valid LA driver’s license and auto insurance.
