Direct Support Professional II - Openings: Multiple
Description: DSPII is responsible for the overall direct support of the person assigned to them. DSPII will attend to the needs of the person such as assistance with personal hygiene, household chores, etc. DSPII will be trained according to individual needs and requirements.
Job Type: Part-time
1. Educations: High School Diploma.
2. License: LA Driver's License, clean driving record

1. Seven holidays paid @ rate of 1.25% above hourly rate.
Direct Support Professional (DSPI - Sub) - Openings - 2
Brief Description: Substitutes in the absence of the Direct Support Staff, responsible for training, assisting and supervising the program participants. Responsible for recording and maintaining documentation of daily activities and programs in a confidential manner.
Hours/Days: M-F, 8am-3pm - various
Job Type: Substitute
1. GED, High School Diploma. Experience working with, and background knowledge of, people with intellectual disabilities.

Direct Support Professional I (DSP1) - ChalmetteOpenings: 3
Brief Description: Responsible for training, assisting and supervising participants to achieve independence in relation to their respective goals, objectives and activities. Responsible for recording and maintaining documentation of daily activities and programs in a confidential manner.
Days/Times: M-F, 8am - 3pm
Job Type: Full-time
1. GED, High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in human services or related discipline preferred. Experience working with, and background knowledge of, people with intellectual disabilities. 2. License: LA Driver's License and Clean Driving Record.
3. Auto: Insurance.

Grounds Worker (Sub)
Brief Description: Primary function is to pick up trash, empty cans, replace liners for all cans. Grounds Worker is in charge of quality control of the contracts and must report regularly to the Dept. Supervisor.
Hours/Days: Saturday and Sunday (4-8 hours per day)
Requirements: Ability to work independently and demonstrates problem solving skills. Strong work ethic a must. Must have valid LA Driver's License and auto insurance.
Job Coach (PT)
Hours/Days: 15-20 hours per week
Brief Description: Provides on the job training in competitive job s for individuals with varying degrees/types of disabilities.
Requirements: High School Diploma, Exp working with people with intellectual disabilities, supervisory experience preferred, and with 6 months will have successfully completed Employment Specialist Training, if available. Must have clean driving record, reliable transportation, valid LA driver's license and current auto insurance.
Grounds Maintenance Crew Leaders (Sub) & On-Site Janitorial Supervisory (sub)
Brief Description: The Grounds Maint. Crew Leader's primary function is to perform work activities, transport, supervise crew members while working on contracts, and oversee all mowing activities of the assigned contract(s). Also, in charge of quality control of the contracts and must report regularly to the Office Manager - AE.
Requirements: Successful completion of DSP Training is required. At least one year commercial landscape experience.At least one year supervisory experience.
Brief Description: On-Site Supervisor's primary function is to supervise crew members while performing duties on the jobsite. Responsible for quality control related to the assigned contract.
Requirements: All the above plus Janitorial experience referred.
Early Childhood Worker
Brief Description: Experience working in a classroom with care, feeding. and toilet training children from birth to five years with and without disabilities.
Requirements: Degree in Early Childhood Development preferred, High School Diploma required. At least one year experience working with children.
